In certain instances, such as an uninsured motorist claim you do have a
contractual obligation to cooperate with the adjuster. In that instance, and
in that instance alone, you do have an obligation to give a recorded
statement. Nothing that you say to the adjuster in any conversation or in
any recorded statement will ever ever help your case. The adjuster doesn't
want to know anything that will help your insurance claim. The insurance
adjuster only wants to know about information that will be used in an
effort to get you to settle for far less than justice requires that you receive
for the injuries
